CODE OF CONDUCT

SummersDirect Inc. is committed to running safe and welcoming events. This applies to people of any gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion. By reading this code of conduct, you acknowledge the guidelines for both acceptable and unacceptable behaviour.

All SummersDirect Inc. partners, speakers, attendees, media, exhibitors and other participants have a role to play in realizing a safe, positive experience for everyone. All determinations of appropriate or inappropriate behaviour are at SummersDirect Inc.’s sole discretion.

All participants, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, SummersDirect Inc. staff members, service providers and all others are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct applies to all SummersDirect Inc. events, including those sponsored by organizations other than SummersDirect Inc. but held in conjunction with SummersDirect Inc. events, on public or private platforms.

If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the Participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted them.

Code of Conduct Agreement

You acknowledge and agree that SummersDirect Inc. reserves the right to remove you without warning or refund from the event if SummersDirect Inc., in its sole discretion, determines that your participation or behavior creates a disruption or hinders the event or the enjoyment of the content by other

SummersDirect Inc. has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment. If you experience harassment or hear of any incidents of unacceptable behavior, SummersDirect Inc. asks that you inform their staff so that they can take the appropriate action. Unacceptable behavior is defined as:

    • Harassment, intimidation, verbal abuse or discrimination in any form of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, SummersDirect Inc. staff member, service provider or other event guest.
    • Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the tradeshow or at other events organized by SummersDirect Inc. throughout the All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any SummersDirect Inc. event staff.

What to do – Reporting unacceptable behavior

If you feel you are being bullied or harassed or the subject of other unacceptable behavior, or witness any such behavior please immediately contact Renee Summers, Owner, SummersDirect Inc. at 780-747-2958.

Your concerns will be held as confidential as you would like them to be and you may remain anonymous to the extent permitted by law and as long as the rights and safety of others are not compromised.

Any participant experiencing or witnessing behavior that in their judgement constitutes an immediate or serious threat to their safety or the safety of others should contact 911 immediately and notify SummersDirect Inc. on-site staff and security, if applicable.
